I’m currently particularly interested in developing socially purposeful stories, with a focus on social justice and films that have the potential to drive meaningful change. I’m especially drawn to stories centred around women.

I develop ideas with the intention of directing them, taking projects from initial concept through development, funding and pitching into production.

I develop original documentary ideas from initial concept through to pitch, with a strong understanding of what makes a compelling story and how to shape it for the right audience and platform.

I’m experienced in creating cinematic, visually-led decks and developing ideas with production companies, talent and broadcasters. Having worked as Head of Development at Wise Owl Films, I have a strong understanding of the commissioning landscape and keep closely attuned to channel priorities and commissioning briefs. I have established relationships with commissioning editors and know how to position, package and pitch an idea and importantly, who to pitch it to.

I’m also experienced in applying for grants and development funds.
